...(and has been welcomed by many happy clients)
It is a programme that works for many people, in different circumstances, with different objectives, for both the young and the elderly alike, healthy or infirm and regardless of financial status and wealth.
If you own, or you are the beneficial owner of a company that owns, a property located in Spain and is valued in excess of €275,000 we are able to help.
We have been involved with Equity Release planning since 2001 and all our lenders are major international offshore banks who have been established for many years.
However, the success of any scheme is not due to the size or quality of the lender, it is quite simply the management and selection of the investment portfolio.
Where loans are being secured against your home, the last thing a borrower should do is to take unnecessary risks with the investments selected. Certain investments are far riskier than others and any high risk investment strategy should be avoided.
Graydon & Associates are not investment managers and therefore we never advice our equity release clients on the selection of individual funds or investments. This we believe should be left to specialist advisors fully knowledgeable in constructing low risk portfolio's designed to provide income and growth to cover the interest and costs arising on the bank loan, and where any surplus can be taken by the client as additional income.
This low risk balanced approached has proven to be successful and has produced the following positive returns:-
9.27% in 2002
10.08% in 2003
7.79% in 2004
As the total annual interest and costs associated with the bank loan have been between 4.50% and 4.75% over these years our clients have enjoyed a healthy income from our planning.
It must be remembered that investment returns may not always be positive, and that interest rates can rise. We would always advice clients to use common sense and to retain some growth to offset any possible future negative or lower returns.
